This style of painting I create two different ways. The first way is to start with no plan in mind, and put random smudges of color on the canvas. Then I recognize images between the brushstrokes and help them come through.  Or I start with a realistic landscape which leads me to see images hiding in the painting. That gives the painting a story and feeling and the universe become my co-creator.
